Some notes on entering your own date.

It will not stop you from entering anything in. You could put January 0, 2000 in and it wouldn't stop you. However, it would be the same time as entering December 31, 1999. You can't hurt it by entering in junk. The only thing it will do is not give you a correct number, give you a negative number or just NaN.
